AYF Coaching Certification

There is two major trainings needed to coach for the 2021 season.  If you haven’t coached AYF since 2019 you are required to take the introductory online course Coaching Youth Football: The AYF Way, Third Edition or Coaching Youth Cheerleading: The AYC Way, Second Edition. In subsequent years, returning coaches must take an annual recertification course to continue their professional development. Please see the REQUIRED trainings below.

• Courses are available through the American Youth Football and Cheer Coaches Education Center website.
• You are also responsible for taking the Child Abuse & Neglect: VA Mandated Reporting Training.

Once completed upload your certificate in the Admin Section of the Coaches Corner.
